Community standards

Ethical Charter

This page is maintained by Filmmakers Paradise to explain the values and rules that govern our community. It applies to everyone who uses the platform — creators, fans, sponsors, staff, and contractors. It is a statement of our commitments and community standards, not a legal certification or a substitute for local law.

01

No scams, no fraud

We prohibit fake creators, fake projects, misleading fundraising, plagiarised work, and any misuse of sponsor or fan funds. Sponsorship applications are reviewed before onboarding. Suspected fraud is removed, funds are refunded where possible, and repeat actors are permanently banned.

02

Zero tolerance for criminality

Money laundering, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, extortion, and the promotion or facilitation of illegal activity are forbidden on the platform. We cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities in accordance with due process.

03

Human rights and dignity

We uphold the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Hate speech, harassment, incitement to violence, dehumanising content, and content that targets people on the basis of who they are have no place here.

04

Protection against modern slavery

We reject forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, and human trafficking in any form — on set, in supply chains, or within any collaboration organised through the platform. Sponsors and partners must confirm compliance with anti-slavery obligations, and credible reports trigger immediate suspension pending investigation.

05

Child safety

Any content that sexualises minors, or that endangers the safety of children on or off set, is prohibited without exception and reported to the appropriate authorities.

06

Fair pay and consent

Collaborations must be based on informed consent, clear credit, and fair compensation appropriate to scope and jurisdiction. Unpaid labour disguised as 'exposure' is discouraged and never promoted by the platform.

07

Editorial independence

Platform sponsorship funds infrastructure, moderation, and grants — it never buys editorial influence over individual creators or the visibility of specific projects. Sponsors are disclosed publicly.

08

Privacy and safety

We collect the minimum data needed to run the platform, do not sell personal data, and provide tools to block, mute, and report. Doxxing and non-consensual sharing of private information are grounds for removal.

09

Transparent moderation

Reports are reviewed by humans. We publish the reasons content is removed to the people affected, and we allow appeals. We aim for consistency, not perfection, and we correct our mistakes.

10

Accountability

This charter is maintained by Filmmakers Paradise and applies to creators, fans, sponsors, staff, and contractors. Breaches can lead to warnings, removal of content, suspension, permanent bans, refunds, and — where warranted — referral to authorities.

Report a concern

If you have witnessed a scam, criminal activity, a human rights abuse, or any sign of modern slavery connected to a project or sponsor on Filmmakers Paradise, contact our trust team. Urgent safety concerns should always be reported to local emergency services first.
